2 DAY 4X4 MOROCCO DESERT TOUR

Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz valley – erg chabi – Merzouga

At 8 a.m., in the first day of Morocco private tours 2 days from Fes to Merzouga back to Fes our the driver/guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Fes. Following breakfast, we will proceed south to Merzouga through Midelt and Errachidia, with the driver telling you about our country’s and the Amazigh (Berber) history in North Africa.

You will travel to Midelt through the mountains and the cedar forest of the Middle Atlas. Your first stop will be in Ifrane, known as Morocco’s Switzerland, a charming ski resort, and Azrou, an important handicraft center specializing in cedar woodwork. You will then stop at the famous cedar forest, Morocco’s largest. There, you will get the opportunity to view and photograph Barbarian apes. Following that, you will continue the middle Atlas route to Midelt, where you will see the same family nomads and a tiny Berber hamlet in which you could stop for lunch.
After lunch in Midelt, your journey continues down the breathtaking Ziz Valley. Therefore, make stops along the road for panoramic vistas. Next, we will travel to Erfoud through Berber towns. Finally, we have arrived at Merzouga. Afterward, spend the night at your campsite, where you will enjoy food, Berber music, and the wonder of the stars…

Day 2: Merzouga, Rissani, Ziz Valley, and Fes

Our camel guide will rouse you early in the morning. So that you can witness what may be the nicest sunrise of your life in the early hours. In addition, you snap great photos before returning to the hotel by camel for breakfast and a shower. Furthermore, via Midelt’s Tizi Ntalghamt pass and before continuing your Fes desert trip, you will stop at Zaida for lunch (barbecue with a glass of mint tea).
